About Alex Black
I am a California-licensed marriage and family therapist based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I see clients remotely and work with anyone who is a resident of the state of California. I work with you to explore the emotional stressors you are experiencing and help you apply a rich tapestry of strategies that will address obstacles that stand in the way of having what you want in your life.
With an undergraduate degree in art and design from San Francisco State University, I hold a Masters in Counseling Psychology from JFK University specializing in Transpersonal Therapy.
I practice from a unique perspective that utilizes the spiritual and creative elements of the human experience for healing and transformation. I believe in every individual's unique voice, experience, and truth, and help you balance the connection between mind, body and spirit. I see beauty in both the light and shadow in each of us, and I help bring awareness to your personal wisdom and self-healing capacities.
